What are your open hours?

Miss Nee is open by appointment and she will endeavour to respond to your requests within 24 hours.

Custom Makes: 

  • Wedding gowns - starting at $1,200 - $2,500

  • Bridesmaid - starting at $300 

  • Special occasion wear - price is dependant on style of dress, fabric and embellishments. Please get in contact for a no obligation quote. 
     

Do you do alterations?

Yes of course. Great or small Miss Nee can do it all. 

How far in advance should I book bridal alterations?

The more time the better for booking, but Miss Nee will complete your alterations 1-2 months out from your wedding date. 

How does the custom made process work?

Firstly theres the brief. Send Miss Nee a message and tell her what you're wanting to create, please include any pictures you have.

Next Miss Nee helps you plan and modify your design to compliment your body perfectly. Before production begins you will receive a sketch of your final design and an estimated quote of pricing.

Once your happy with your design it's time to get measured and production begins! During production you are required to do at least one fitting to ensure the perfect fit.

When your design is ready for pick up Miss Nee requires a final fitting. This is so any last minute touches can be done and it ensures you're completely satisfied, then its time to take your custom made design home! 

Where are you located?

Miss Nee is located in Geelong, Victoria. A mobile service is also available.     A small travel fee may apply depending on your location.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring along any inspiration images and ideas you have, if you have already bought fabric then bring that along too.

If you're coming for alterations please bring your shoes along with the shape wear that you want to wear with your outfit. For example if your outfit is going to be strapless please bring a strapless bra to your appointment. 

What should I expect at my Custom make first appointment?

For custom makes allow 1 hour for your first appointment. It's important that Miss Nee spends sufficient time with you to clearly understand and confirm your design brief.  She encourages you to bring along photos, sketches, fabric swatches, embellishments or colour options; anything that helps you convey your ideas.  
 
Miss Nee will support you to settle on a final design by adding her industry knowledge to your ideas. A full body measure will be conducted at your first appointment so be sure to wear comfortable clothing.
 

How far in advance should I book for a custom make?

Quality custom made garments can take many weeks to complete from the first initial consultation, settling on a design, sourcing fabrics and embellishments, pattern making, construction and fittings. For this reason Miss Nee encourages you to book 3-6 months in advance to avoid disappointment, although rush orders can be done for a small fee providing Miss Nee has the availability at the time.

Do you charge for consultations and fittings?

Miss Nee charges a one off first initial consultation of $25.00, which includes a full body measure and a personalised design development session with you. All other face to face appointments conducted at the Miss Nee studio are included in your overall quote. If Miss Nee is required to travel to you a travel fee may be negotiated prior.
